The Gay & Lesbian Association Against Defamation (GLAAD) has nominated Beloved Show for Outstanding Individual Episode!

The GLAAD Media Awards honors progressive portrayals of LGBT characters in the media around us, from TV shows to Journalism.
Supernatural 's "The Real Ghostbusters" episode was the one that got the GLAAD nomination, where Sammy and Dean are tricked by the uber-obsessed Becky who "borrowed" Chuck's phone to call them and end up in a real life Supernatural convention with fans galore. The con even featured an RPG that led to the introduction of False!Dean, Demian, and False!Sammy, Barnes, who eventually help Real!Sam and Real!Dean defeat the actual ghosts haunting the con venue, and in the end of the episode turn out to be life partners.BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
The GLAADs are also nominating the movie "Taking Woodstock" for Outstanding Film (Wide Release), which co-stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan aka PAPA WINCHESTER!
He plays a character named Dan and you can see some of his scene clips in the movie here
The 2nd one really doesn't have anything to do with SPN directly ~ and Jeff's character isn't the LGBT character potrayal in mind ~ but I still can't help myself feeling like it's a two-fer :)
Demian and Barnes' relationship was a surprise but real sweet nonetheless,
