In celebration of the end of hellatus, SupportSupernatural got an interview gig with none other than the cute neurotic prophet Chuck, in real life known as Rob Benedict!

Stroll along to see what this actor/musico tells :

SupportSupernatural (SSN) : Do you know anyone like “Becky” in your real life?
Rob: Ha! No, not really. I’ve met a few at the conventions that come close, but…No but really, is there anyone quite like Becky?

SSN: Other than the episodes you’ve been in, what are some of your favorite Supernatural episodes?
Rob: I loved the one early this year with the Trickster and the different TV show genres ~ CHANGING CHANNELS WOOT! :D ~ I thought that was genius.

SSN: If you found out you were a prophet, what would be the first thing you would do? Also, do you know if Chuck will go back to any his older books to see if he's missed something that could potentially help the boys deal with the Apocalypse?
Rob: I don’t know for sure if he’ll dive back into the books for answers. But it seems like a good possibility, doesn’t it? If I found out I was a prophet, I’d probably see if I can find out when and how I die. You know, so I can be ready.

SSN: Tell us about the scene where Chuck hits Sam on the head with a plunger. Was it quick to film or were you guys laughing a lot?
Rob: We laughed quite a bit. I think I really got him one of the times. It was a tough shot cause you want it to look like I really bop him, all about timing…and editing! I think it came out well.

SSN: How long have you been playing music and singing?
Rob: I’ve been playing music in some way or other since I was like 10 or so. My buddy and I used to make pretend music videos. At first we were adlibbing Def Leppard. And then we were writing our own stuff. The first song I wrote I still have some where—it was called “Under the Willow Tree”. Ha ha ha. I played guitar and sang and my buddy played keyboards. And we rocked the drum machine ~ LOL drummer-less bandd ~

SSN: How did you originally become interested in music?
Rob: I’m the youngest of four—and they all used to sit me in front of the record player and listen to old R&B and rock albums. Yes folks, albums. That and the “Def Leppard” mention—I’ve really dated myself.

SSN: On your website, your live shows are described as “emotional, heartfelt, and often amusing.” We’re so intrigued now! Tell us more about what to expect from a Louden Swain show!
Rob: We've got a lot of pent up energy. So our shows are never without some good leaping off of amps, that sort of thing. We get into it. Laughter, tears, you name it. I tend to be brutally honest on the mic. My own sort of brand of comedy eeks its way out between songs.

SSN: Out of all of your songs, what one means the most to you and why?
Rob: These are great questions. There are a lot that mean a great deal to me. Each one has its own personality. But there are some songs, when I sing them, that still really affect me because I can remember how I was feeling when I wrote the lyric. Holiday off the new album is like that. And personally I love rocking out to Kind of Guy. It’s personal to me and I just like the way the band sounds on that song.

SSN: Are you and the band working on another album?
Rob: We’re still sort of supporting this last one. But we’ve definitely got a handful of new songs in the bank. When the bank gets full, we usually bust out another one. We actually have a new song we’re really excited about that is going to be in a movie called "A Little Help" that I just competed with (The Office’s) Jenna Fischer. Excited for you guys to hear that.

SSN: Would you consider bringing the band to a Supernatural convention?
Rob: We’d love to. There’s talk of getting us to the LA and New Jersey conventions. Tell them you want us there and we’ll be there!! ~ OMG i will be so jelz of ppl going to those cons now ~

SSN: As we start 2010, tell us your favorite memory from 2009.
Rob: Besides my family trip to Legoland which rocked the house, I’d say going to England for the first time was a real treat.

SSN: You have had some really great roles over the years. What actors were the best to work with and why do they stand out to you?
Rob: Wow, some of the best actors I’ve ever worked with were in the theater. I know that’s not a flashy answer, but it is so true. That’s where you meet the people that are really DOING it. And every once in a while you get to act along side someone truly gifted like that, and every moment is a learning experience. It’s fun to get to work next to some awesome actors when I get to play guest stars. Hugh Laurie was pretty amazing to watch. Tony Shaloub in Monk was great. I just worked with an actor named Ron Leibman who is the real deal.

SSN: In addition to music and acting, what other passions do you have?
Rob: Macrome. No. Kidding. My kids. They get the rest of me! ~AAAWWW :) ~

SSN: What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
Rob: Sit down on the couch in my office, light candles, open the doors, put on some moody music and read, write, play guitar…I could do that for hours.

SSN: Out of all the roles you have played, what character is most similar to you, Rob?
Rob: This movie I just shot with Jenna Fischer called "A Little Help." It’s one of the coolest roles I’ve had, and something about that guy struck very close to home. You should get to see that later this year. Besides that the character I played in "Threshold" was very similar to me. The part of me that liked to school it up.

SSN: Do you have any pets and if so what kinds and what are their names?
Rob: Bingo! He’s our dog. He’s about 8. We got him as a rescue when he was about one. He’s very cool. And we have about 10 Koi fish.

SSN: How did you find your pet (pet store, rescue, breeder)?
Rob: Yeah, Bingo was rescue. A neighbor took him out of a shelter a day before he was to be euthanized because of an overcrowded shelter. The guy called me and we took him! So glad we did.

SSN: Do you have any personal experience with any animal rescue organizations? If so please share a story.
Rob: A good friend of mine volunteers at one and she has amazing stories. They just rescued an injured coyote that was prowling their neighborhood. That was quite cool.

REVIEW AND LINK//5.12 OH YOU SHAKE IT UP BABY

Title is my favorite line from the episode!

This episode of Supernatural "Swap Meat" was good. I actually thought it was going to be confusing because the promo and sneaks show Sammy and the Geekboy ~ aka Gary ~ switched up back and forth as themselves and as theirselves in the other body. Turns out it was just because of the random collage of images that were put together. Lucky it wasn't like that for reals. I liked the scene where Sam's looking in the mirror and seeing Geekboy's reflection mimicking his gestures to a tea.

Geekboy's pals? That Trevor guy was so freaking ANNOYING. I wanted to jump into the screen and smite his mouth up ~ aww I miss Cass :( ~ And from the casting call, Nora was suppose to have a crush on Geekboy but I didn't really get that from her. If I didn't know about the calls I wouldn't have figured it out until Sammy brought it up to Geekboy. Nevertheless, the actress did a really good job of turning and playing a demon. Really creepy, especially when she kills that Trevor guy and licks the blood off her hand, "Mmmmh. Tastes like moron." That line actually made me LOL ;D

Geekboy himself was not too shabby either. He had pretty easy lines that were already hilar so he didn't really have to do much, but he still delivered them well.

It's strange how character's on the show always insinuate that Dean is just the bro with the looks while Sam is the brains, but I think that is totally far from the truth. There have been many times where Dean has been so clever even I get all "OH SNAP DEAN YOU AWESOME BOY". One of those times can be seen in this episode. He could have just dismissed Sam's weird behaviour and sudden crave for carbs, but he knew better. Instead, he tricks Geekboy/Fake!Sammy and knocked him out. YAYZ DEAN! \o/

Jared did awesome with the acting-as-a-teenager part. Too bad it was just for 1 scene though, honestly I could have gone with more of that. Really funny! :D SAMMY IN NON-HUNTER CLOTHING WAS KINDA WEIRD THOUGH. Like Bobby without a hat.

And I liked the thing about the evils putting out a bounty for Dean. I mean, of course I didn't like that every satanist in the country was after Dean's head ~ because I fudging love that BAMF ~ but I thought it kept things interesting. It ties up this supposedly one-stand episode with the whole Apocalypse shiz too.

Yeah, that's enough.

I don't know why, but for these past few days it seems we've been hearing a lot about A.J. Buckley, or better known as our Ghostfacer leader Ed. It might be because the spreading word of the new GHOSTFACERS webisodes that we learned about, OR it might be because he's got a new movie out!

Buckley stars in the new indie movie "Skateland" playing the character Teddy. Recently, he's been busy with the movie in Park City, Utah, where the 2010 Sundance Film Festival takes place.

In the picture at the right he snaps a photo with a co-star inside the cast party held at the T-Mobile myTouch Diner, Village, last Monday night.

I imagine some of you peeps going all "d'uuh, we already knew there are fakers and that those fakers aren't really you" so this may seem like such an unimportant thing for the boys to be taking care of. I used to have that same mindset.

Until I read/heard stories like THIS

It's good that you or me DO perfectly understand and know that Jared and Jensen both do NOT have any internet profiling whatsoever, but not everyone understands this. I know it's a hard concept to grasp. But sorry to say, there are a fudging huge number of SPN freaks all over the world. Meaning there are a lot of different kind of SPN fans. Meaning that every fan will have a different way of thinking, whether it be based on age or background or whatever. For instance, would you honestly expect a 9 year old girl to not be naive and straight up believe that her dream guy from TV wants to meet her?

That is my point. Heck, I've even heard a story about an already adult fan who was keeping contact with a faker who she thought was actually Jensen. The faker even said that he would be dumping Danneel and wanted to be with that fan chick instead. Totally crazy, right? But that's just how it is sometimes.

Even though WE already understand this, sadly not everyone will. It doesn't hurt to spread the word so that nothing sick and creepy could ever happen to another Supernatural fan again.

Thanks to Clif, who has been constantly calling out all the fakers he finds on twatter.

He's their bodyguard and also got a little role on Beloved Show as Tiny in the "Folsom Prison Blues" episode. No wonder he's a bodyguard, am I right? lol

Thanks to the boys for giving an effort to protect the fans' well-being and preventing unwanted things from ever happening again. It's such a shame that people with really ill-fit intentions exist in this world and try to take advantage of others. But hopefully with this official message right from Jensen and Jared's mouth we can try prevent such things.

New spoils that have come out are freaking me out.

The lovely Kristen from e's spoilchat told a reader this :

Okay, so what the hell does that song have to do with an upcoming episode? First guess, it's going to have something to do with a Fallen Angel, hence the song title.

Fallen Angel can mean two things here :

2) Fallen bearing the same meaning as dead.

IF THIS IS IMPLYING THAT CASTIEL IS GOING TO DIE I WILL HAVE A MAJOR BTCH FIT.

THE -NOT SO REAL- GHOSTBUSTERS

We loved it when the brothers had their first encounter with two geeky guys who ran the hellhoundslair website and kept pesting Sam and Dean's work. Then we saw them again, reasembled into a bunch of amateur "ghosthunters" that went by the name of GHOSTFACERS, who were very much eager to find some ghosts, film it, and get rich quick.

The 2 frontmen of the group, Ed ~ played by CSI:NewYork regular, A.J. Buckley ~ and Harry ~ played by the less-known but as-entertaining, Travis Wester ~ might be headlining their own actual series. . . . .on the interwebz!

Supernatural creator, Eric Kripke, gave the duo the go to write and star in 10 episodes for a spin-off series that's due to start shooting this March in LA.

Buckley on getting the role of Ed :

"Originally they didn't want me. I am a huge dork, let's not kid anybody. But casting was like, no he's too good looking. I never get that, are you kidding me? Usually I'm not good looking enough and now I'm too good looking?"

LOL oh Buckley, you are the hot-kind of geek that this show is basically ran on :) ~ like SAMMY, d'urr ~

The bad news is, he hasn't heard anything of a GHOSTFACERS episode for this season, so it's possible that we'll only be able to see the hilariously weird "hunters" bunch again via our computer screens.

But then again with Beloved Show you never know. . .

REVIEW AND LINK//5.11 THE BROS GO NUTS

PUDDING!!

I honestly had a laugh fit when I saw that scene. MOST FAVORITE SCENE IN IT! I knew they were going to act crazy to not look suspicious, but I didn't think that Dean would take it that far. Not that I'm complaining. . . ;)

Anyhoot,

I really LOVED this episode! Who would have thought that an episode about being crazy could be that good and enjoyable? I think most of the fans who saw the episode promo were all thinking the same thing as me, that this episode was going to be about them fighting their ~inner~ demons. Well yeah, there was some of that, but it wasn't all of it. It looked very angsty from the promo and the fact that it was still light and had lots of humorous moments speaks much about the writers still having the knack to give us a rollercoaster ride of emotion.

PS : Drunk!Sammy is almost better than Evil!Sammy ! Too cute I cannot even.

And in return, it also gave our bbs Jensen and Jared a chance to show their acting range. I mean, pssh, we already knew that they had the chops for a while now but this just proves our point. I really don't know much about acting and shiz, but I think that trying to act crazy is actually not a piece of cake as some would assume. The scene where Sam is imagining that he's getting hoarded by a group of people telling him it's all his fault and they show Jared literally throwing punches around into thin air? If Jared didn't have the skills it would have come out looking awkward or overdone. But since he does have the skills, it turned out looking like he was really losing his mind without it looking rediculous.

And for Jensen I love how in one scene he's still in his crazy state and trying to fight the Wraeth, but then in the next scenes he's back to the reguler tough-man Dean and telling his little bro that everything's okay. Very versatile.

I wasn't expecting the doctor to be the Wraeth. At first I was, since it seemed like the logical choice because the doc kept insisting to the patients that there was no such thing as monsters and acting all shady and what not. And then I remembered,

THIS IS SUPERNATURAL, HELLOOOOO

Beloved Show ain't gonna go for the obvious. So it kinda wasn't a shock that it turned out to be the nurse. In fact I liked the nurse. She was. . . .pleasantly annoying? I don't know how to explain it. Twas a shame that she turned out to be Sam and Dean's hunting prey. And the bit where Dean cracks her hand-nail thing into half? GROSS-OUT MUCH *yuck*

They got me with the pretty lady doctor. Her turning out to be an illussion of Dean's crazy-poisoned mind. Didn't see that coming AT. ALL. When Dean was yelling at her because she was saying all those nasty things about him I was thinking that she was going to be the monster instead. She didn't even exist.

And I felt sorry for Martin. I wish he would have escaped together with them :( But yeah, I guess thats where he wanted to be.

Okay, that's pretty much my rant for this episode.

TVGuideMagazine recently got an interview with Supernatural executive producer, Sera Gamble, who shares a lot about upcoming episodes.

It's pretty much a lot of what we've already discovered in past spoilers, but she gives us more insight into the 13th episode "Back to the Future II", which she says is gonna be a heartwrencher!

TVGuide : On February 4, you’re doing a “Back to the Future” episode when Sam and Dean time travel to 1978. What are they attempting to do?

Gamble : Sam and Dean go back to try to save their mom and dad—from a threat that also travels back in time from 2020—Terminator style.What are the consequences if they don’t succeed—or they do?If the baddie succeeds, Mary and John [Amy Gumenick and Matthew Cohen, above] will be murdered—and Sam and Dean will never be born. So, you could say the stakes are pretty high for the guys.

TVGuide : Is it a heartbreaker?

Gamble : Definitely. Sam seeing his parents is heart-wrenching—particularly his mom, because she died when he was just a baby. When he first meets her, he’s so overwhelmed he can’t even speak. But I think the most heartbreaking story is Mary’s. She’s done everything she can to leave hunting behind and have a normal life with John. But as the episode unfolds, we see her realize she can never escape.

TVGuide : For Valentine’s Day you have “My Bloody Valentine,” airing February 11, with a Cupid. This being Supernatural, what kind of havoc does he or she create?

Gamble : Well, for starters, he shows up stark naked and gunning for hugs! Sam and Dean are investigating a series of gory murder/suicides—all people who were desperately in love. They suspect the culprit may be the supernatural being who made the matches to begin with—a Cupid gone rogue. So they capture and interrogate him. All I can say is, he is a very loving dude. It's hilarious.

TVGuide : What else can we look forward to before your Olympic break?

Gamble : Anna [Julie McNiven], the fallen angel, will make a reappearance. You’ll find out what happened after Castiel [Misha Collins] turned her in last season.

Before this interview, I didn't even stop and think about how huge a deal this is for the boys, especially Sammy who can finally meet his mother. With Jared's sad puppydog eyes, this one is definitely going to have its heartache moments ;(

And I've been wondering about Death! Did you spoillovers notice that in all the spoilers that have come out, there hasn't been a trace of Death? And he/she ~ SO HOPING IT'S A SHE! ~ rising was the last we saw of a Beloved Show episode. Death is certainly the one to look out for, seems like the lead Horseman.

That just in from Michael Shanks via his official website, the Stargate series actor better known there as Dr. Daniel Jackson.

Hmm. . . .judging by the episode's casting call, I'm thinking this doctor might be swapping jobs from doctor to becoming our Pastor Gideon!

But he says it's "not a huge part". And isn't the boot-wearing Pastor kind of a huge part? Except if the focus of the storyline is more on his daughter, Abby. .

So, yeah, the speculation continues.

Will be updating when we know exactly what his part will be!

UPDATE 24/01 '10 : Shanks is reported to be playing a character named Rob, one of the local militia guys who bears a wife and son but then devotes himself solely to a cause because of a lose. That certain cause is still up in wraps.

Will this Rob guy be helping the bros in their quest, or maybe even otherwise?

The brothers get themselves admitted as patients to check out the mysterious monster that is attacking the patients, but their incarceration pushes both to the breaking point as they unleash their inner demons against each other.

Sources say that our bb Jared is the 3rd actor in running to star in the remake of the movie "Conan the Barbarian".

Bobby. is. stunned

The movie is scheduled to start shooting on March 15 in Bulgaria.

The other two hollywood hunks in the running are Kellan Lutz ~ Twilight's vampire, Emmet ~ and Jason Momoa ~ the Ronon dude in the TV series Stargate ~.

Oh, and fyi for those who don't know, this is what "Conan the Barbarian" is.

Don't know about you guys but I am so hoping that Jared does NOT get this role.


Then again, it depends on how long he would have to be shirtless on screen.
